1988 Dodge Ram 250 B-series Conversion Camper van for sale!
$7500 OBO
With the summer coming up, now is the time to buy this great little camper van. It is old, but it a fantastic little unit.
The best thing about this van by far is the engine. This is an extreme trustworthy van with only 88000Kms. I have never once been worried about it not starting or not working properly. We recently changed all the spark plugs and the fuel filter.
All of the applicances in the van work great. This van comes with a fridge and a three burner stove that both can run on propane. The fridge also has an electric setting so when you can save the propane when you are hooked up to city power.
There is a sink, toilet, and shower which all work. The shower is quite cramped so we put some selves in the shower to use as storage, but these shelves can easily be removed with 4 screws if you want to use the shower. I put a brand new 12 volt water pump in the van so when you are camping you will have full pressure. There are also external water hookups for attaching to city water if it is available where you are.
All of the lights were although you do need to buy afew bulbs. I planned on buying LEDs to saveenergy when camping but just never got around to it.
It has two beds. The couch turns into the main bed and is big enough for two people to sleep comfortably on it. There is also a upper bunk for guests or kids who can scurry up.
It also comes with a awning and killer sound system for when it is hot out and you need some shade to drink your beers under!
The Bad:
The driver side window doesn't roll down. but there is a smaller secondary window that works fine. I had it open the whole time we were in mexico and didn't suffer at all.
The drivers seat is also broken. I stuff a pillow behind the drivers seat to give it some support and it works fine.
The hot water heater doesn't work. I've tried messing around with it but I think it is a propane problem and it is beyond my skill to fix.
