Hi all,
I had my iPhone 4 8gb STOLEN from my (locked) locker on Oct 1st at Creekside Community Center, and I noticed it at 5pm. He broke in when I was working in the gym (I'm a PT).
There was a posting made an hour after it was stolen, called "black iphone 4 - rogers" that advertised the exact same phone, locked to Rogers (like mine) for $120.
He later deleted it and posted "iphone 4 | rogers" for $110.
A few hours later, he deleted it again and posted "iphone 4 - black" for $100.
His number is . I also have his license plate. The police have been notified and there is a file number, however, if you bought this phone, you may run into some troubles when you try to activate it.
To get your money back, I suggest filing a claim against the person you bought it from. The phone he stole was a work phone, with very little personal information on it, and has little use to anyone except me because it is now bricked and blacklisted.
I had been very reasonable, and even left a lock on a locker at the community center for him to put it back. When I spoke with him on the phone, he was extremely defensive and did not want to cooperate. He even asked to "meet" so he can bring his "friends" - not typical behavior for someone who is innocent.
If you mistakenly bought this phone, you may email me using the email above, and I can speak to you about the next steps so you won't be charged a criminal.
