I am sorry you are upset about your beetle. As you indicated the rust holes in the beetle will not pass inspection without some repairs. I have not had the beetle inspected in Manitoba so I can not comment on this issue at all really. I cannot recall when it was last inspected in Manitoba to tell you the truth. I was not aware of what it would take to license the car in BC when I sold it to you and I can only say that it was not an issue in Manitoba that prevented me from putting it on the road.
Paul, I sold the beetle to you in good faith on an as is basis and made no guarantees or implied anythings about its condition and I am sorry you are upset about having to spend more than you originally thought to get it on the road here in BC
